Where did you go to have done

I have been calling around local shops for prices on installation of an exhaust and the eibach pro kit but, I don't know where to go. Do I go to a chain store like midas or meineke or to some ma and pa deal. Any help would be much appreciated.

What type of exhaust? Custom, cat-back, axle-back etc?

Get some jack stands and a socket set. It should take an hour. If you can turn a wrench you can install a cat-back. Springs I'd get done professionally. If you don't have a shop you know and trust, go to a chain store where the staff seems to know what they're doing.

Mechanically it's simple. The only difficult thing is unbolting the piping from the cat (it's torqued on TIGHT), but that can be done with a good amount of WD40 and some muscle.

cat back is going to be your best performance because you are changing the whole pipe from "the cat back" to the exhaust tip. it will also be louder because of this. for even more performance get soem high flow cats, or remove them completely (illegal, tampering). also a header and downpipe. this will all releave backpressure.

Muffler and pipe size determine sound more than anything else.

EDIT: Look in the registry.

i have stock. i'm not getting an exhaust til i can afford both a header and exhaust section. i don't like the idea of sounding loud and not being fast (or faster). if RRM has a cat-back out by then, i'll see how that sounds. hobie seems to be an advocate of the buschur. i'd like to see some other companies make catback too like greddy, tt.....i am also considering flowmaster

Yes, I am. And anyone at the NY meet this Saturday should get a chance to hear it. I'll get a chance to hear an RRM exhaust prolly too and hopefully compare to some custom jobs. Huzzah!
