Exhaust manifold piping is just a wee bit (read, a lot) thicker than exhaust piping seeing it has to cope with extremely hot exhaust gasses fresh from the combustion chamber. You don't work it like you would say, downpipe to muffler piping. I'd laugh if I ever saw press bent exhaust runners.
