Pulleys - I have no idea which ones. I just know that the less they weigh, the faster the engine can turn.

How 'bout all of them?

As for a group buy - perhaps you'd be better at organizing it?

we could make underdrive's as well I suppose... I'll look at that and the cost to do the project. I'm just curious as to whether or not that much interest exists for them.

Only reason I wouldn't put together the group buy is I don't want to give the impression that I'm trying to make a sale without having a vendor-ship. I want to make sure I follow the rules on that, but at the same time I have to find ways to determine if there is enough interest for us to be able to turn at least some money out of all the work. I suppose I could try to gauge interest with a GI thread, but as of now... I'm not doing that... and just trying to find a good nearby test car.

Boo to underdrive. I don't want any of my extra systems to be underdriven.

I just want lightweight so things spin faster.

I can try and organize something if you're serious. I do think there would be interest, depending on price point.

If you want to look into it and PM me with details, I can try to arrange something.

forgot to mention... I can also do custom stainless steel valves that can be rated up to 2400F as well... swirl polished, backcut, and necked.

What pulleys can you lighten without messing up the accessories, or rather which ones would actually be worth lightening? I'd be up for the SS brake and clutch lines as Blacksheepdj proposed.

ambystom - lightweighting them wouldn't mess anything up. It would just make them easier to spin, therefore letting the HP go to other areas (like the wheels).

You're thinking of underdrive, which are smaller and deliver less power to the accessories. We don't want those.

sdhotwn - hopefully you, me and engineerboy can get something all worked out.

Alright thanks for clearing that up for me Blacksheep. Hell if the gains are decent, not just a placebo type effect, then I might be interested in pulleys, if the price is right.

it wouldn't be a placebo effect, granted it would only be a few HP and a few TQ, but every little bit counts, more so when you are N/A =).
