My friend has a 03 OZ lancer and had a slight accident a couple of days ago, front right fender and headlight are damaged. We're broke so were trying to spend as little money as possible and need some help.

Every parts place we call up lists the OZ rally fender as more expensive than the base model. I'm thinking the ES/LS fender will bolt right up, but don’t want to buy the wrong part. Anyone know the difference, why would one be more expensive if the car is the same structurally? Anyone try and interchange fenders or been through this?

Is this a good place to buy a fender or is it best to go OEM, anyone deal with these guys before.

the fender on the 02-03 OZ/ES/LS is exactly the same. try finding it off a totaled lancer first, probably would be cheapest.

I've looked for totaled ones in the for sale here and no luck yet, and I dont think they'd be sitting in junkyards yet. Any other ideas about where to find one?.

there are a couple sites that sell oem mitsubishi parts, but i cant remember the better oens off hand, if you run a search on here, youll find them.

ozracer4 is parting his car, look in the private for sale section. running a search under the term totaled and parting out etc etc, they arent going to list everything that is for sale.
