oh are they good? cuz i currently got some really cheapass white ones online for $14 just to test them out, they are a lot whiter but a lot dimmer too.... thats why im planning on getting HIDs. But since HIDs sound so illegal, I'll just get some brighter and whiter halogen bulbs. Are Silver Star ST really good? i heard a lot of people recommanding them

HID is the only way to go if you want a good aftermarket lights...people will say sylvania piaa and so on...i have used them...nothing compares...but you do run the risk of getting popped for the HIDS

Up in Ga they are legal. Why wouldnt they be legal becasue they come stock on some cars sold to consumers in the US. Acura features a lot of cars with HID as does Lexus BMW S2000 Evo's and so on. How will a cop know if the HIDs arent stock on your car. I really doubt they know every single car that is sold with HID as a standard.

hmm gotta do some research on that but 2 of my friends drive Honda accords with HID's and they havent been stopped yet. My friend was stopped for having some blue windshield washer LED's on and he got in trouble for that but not for his HID's And my other friend hasnt been stopped before. Of course GA is more lenient on aftermarket stuff.

I don't think aftermarket HID's are illegal at all, and I live in the People's Republic of California.

ha...you gotta be kidding me right?....again...dont give false advie when it comes to things like this....especially in cali....people get harassed here for having a hint of blue in their lights on civics and what not...all day long...a cop wont stop you for having lights 99% of the time...they will stop you you for speeding and also bust for your lights

pretty much any hid that the car didnt come with is illegal. Just like tint on the front two windows. Its ok if it came from the factory that way but if you put in on yourself then you could get fined. And there are plenty of people that ride around with tinted front windows and HID's. Some get popped, others dont.

It really all comes down to your local cops. Around by me the cops could care less about your headlights. Almost everyone in town has a mercedes, audi, beemer, caddy, etc....everyone has factory HID's. So the cops dont even think twice when you pass them.

Window tint however they will come after you for, even if its very light. Just depends on where you live.

my suggestion is go to the main page of this site. click on registry on the right hand side. Select your make of car. Then search for members with HID mods.

Most will have pictures tell you watt HID's they are using. The bluer the color obviously the more noticable. So look for one that you think looks good but doesnt scream pull me over. Then maybe even send the member a pm (personal message) to find out where they got them from.
