hey guys i took my rim 2 b fixed and they just now told me its not repairable! that i have 2 buy a new rim 4 it! so that means i have 2 spend $200 on a new rim thats money i could of used on somethin else on my car! o well

 

did you check the private selling section here? i think some of the owners here were selling thier OZ rims...

 

ya IF its an OZ rim then a few guys are selling full sets with tires for under $300
be good for a spare...or 3

 

yeah it sucks, i bent my rim too a couple months back and was told that aluminum rims cant be fixed. Not sure if thats totally true but nobody in jersey will even try

 

It's not worth the liability risk to the company fixing it. Aluminum can be brittle, especially when you play around with it.

 

would they be able to fix small bends in a rim? .. army685 how much damage was on the rim?

well tha polished lip part bent! so it couldent b fixed! but i already ordered a new 1!

 

I am wanting to sell a set of 4 with brand new tires on them w/ only 1000 miles on them they are bridgestone pontenza's not sure what tire size exactly... the are stock oz rally rims 15" for the oz rally edition lancer... im selling them all for 250 for the set of four with the tires. I've never sold anything before so im not entire sure how it all works and how we would work it out if you interested just send a a private message.

I would like to but its hard enough to sell one as it is four... sorry i just really want to get rid of the set. The reason im being so picky is im a getting a tracer body get for my lancer, i apologize.

 

Did you report the pothole to the city? If they knew about it they are liable.
