Question ATTN - Lancer owners w/ racing seats

I searched this but no real results - does anyone with a Lancer running racing seats ( recaro, corbeau et al. ) have a harness bar ? If you do - who makes it ? I can't really get the harnesses that click into the rear seat belt buckles cuz i got 2 kids. I am in the market for some new seats soon and i wanted to get the harnesses to go with them. Thanks in advance.

I bought a racing harness for my Lancer. It's has snap in ends to it, which uses eye bolts that replace the upper seatbelt bolts for the reat seat. They work just fine and would still allow you to use child safety seats, and are also very easy to un-snap the back sections to allow for passengers in the rear.

Yeah I know sparco makes the bar for the Evo's but I'm not sure if it fits on the lancer.

Sparco told me that it should fit perfecltly. I would go with that if you want a harness that is truely safe to drive with. The other bolt on ones, whether they unclip to allow back seat use or not, are really for autocross only and can cause injury in a head-on collision.

Yep, or check the auto racing forum on this site. That's where Sparco made their first post about the product coming out. It's a bit pricey, but a broken neck is even pricier!
