From what I've read on other threads they say that the evo and lancer interior is more or less the same

Yes, the brackets that work for the front seats in the Evo will work in the Lancer. If you're getting rear seats, that might require some alterations, but front seats will pop right in just fine.

When I bought my seats which are very similar in design to sparco seats I had to get the custom made mounting brackets (I found them on ebay, but you can also get them from RMR for $75 USD a piece--need two). My seats came with slider brackets and risers which I mounted to the top of the custom mounting brackets. Before you buy anything, make sure it will all fit correctly and you have the correct mounting hardware. If you get 4pt harnesses to go along with the seats, make sure they are mounted properly. (I used 1/2inch nylock nuts bolted to the frame) =D

Alot of seats won't fit, you have to custom make the brackets... I think the evo ones will bolt on tho. Don't quote me on that.

Here is a link to the harness bar for the Lancer.. just navigate your way to the lower left of the website. It is for the EVO VII/VIII. It also fits the Lancer.

I was going to get one of those but I ordered the 4pt harnesses that just bolt into the floor.

Sorry bout that.. looks like the price is going to be around $399 USD. A bit to pricey for me. I'm sticking with my 1/2inch grade 8 nylock bolts that hold mine in place on the frame.
