Deyeme sway bar bushings

Installed everything so far. Front takes a while, but they definitely feel better than the stock bushings. Material seems much stronger. The stock ones were looking pretty ratty, so I'm glad I swapped.

After driving, they do seem to improve handling. The car rides well and feels like it turns easier.

Not many pictures, but here we go.

Remove the bolts and pull off the bracket. Slide out stock bushing and slide in Deyeme bushing.

Replace bracket and replace bolts. Done.

These were free. I'm the guinea pig (tester). Deyeme wanted to make sure they fit before selling them.

Install is fairly easy. There are two bolts holding the brackets down. Remove those, take the bracket off. Slide the old bushing out and the new one in. Replace bracket and bolts and you're done.

Better, stronger bushings. They'll last much longer. If you have the bushing squeak that many Lancer owners do, then it'll be a few less squeaky bushings.

that's SO WEIRD!!! I just emailed Kartboy about this last week!! Looks like you beat me to the punch. Basically, everyone who whines that they want a stiffer/larger front sway bar can and will benefit from stiffer urethane bushings.

DJ keep us posted on the availability of the bushings.... are these just replacements for the mounts, or will they also replace the bushings that support the fasteners that connect the bar to the a-arms?

Less squeaking, they last longer, they're stronger, etc. Less movement of sway bar.

Kris - I'll pass along what I hear from Travis.

Got some advice on what to look for and took the car out for some "spirited late-night motorsports" with the new bushings and no rear bar (basically an ES with coilovers and bars ). Car handled very crisply. I think they make a definite improvement.

I've heard that everything should be done and released in a couple months. There may be some surprises!

If you want to call Travis' estimate of mid-summer a "couple months"

What do you mean by "surprises"? Sooner than mid summer?
