search....all it is is a 10 cent resistor to make the ECU think it is getting colder air. you won't really notice a difference in power because there won't really be any.

i have like 4 resistors on my MAF...and man last time i dynoed, first pull wan at like 160whp with just intake and exhaust, so if you were gonna do it, then i would say get like 5 or 6 then you may dyno at like 180whp

Dude... why the hell would you do that? It's one thing to tell the guy to search it's another to give out wrong info. That info then gets saved in the message board so when another newb comes along and does actually search they find this, the wrong answer.

Yeah, I had one of those once. Awesome difference in horsepower. It really helps improve top end horsepower. You'll feel the difference in your wallet.

c'mon guys, is this really necessary? first off, he's not a no0b, hes a member since april, '02. i could see doing this for something else, but this guy is gonna blow how much money on sh!+. the worst part is is that your giving the guy selling this bullsh!+ MORE money, which is wrong, the guy should be sued for false advertising to begin with!! im sorry but about 4 years ago on my 1st car i fell for this and to this day i cannot stand someone giving false information. its just ignorant, dont get me wrong im not talking about the people in this thread, im talking about whoever is making money on a 10c resistor and selling it for $10-50. i dont know how ebay allows it. i wouldnt.

p.s.lancerGT- come around more than like 4-5 times a year and SEARCH before asking something thats been covered a thousand times.

ahhh... i feel better now(i had to vent after the day at work)
