does anyone know why it took like 10 years for the evo to be relesed in the U.S ???? when america has the best market for sales and its basically the last place on earth where the evo hasent been relesed?? even a small *** island where im from called new zealand has evos.. just curious

 

so do you think the facelifted '04 lancer is gonna look like the Evo, or are the changed going to be more subtle, like a slight mod to the front grille or something

 

Well most of us really don't know on how the new facelifted Lancer will look like. But if you ask me, there gonna design it much like the Evolution...with some heavy reworking on the grill.

 

i hope thats the case, cause as much as i would KILL for an Evo i cant afford one unless something fincancially amazing happens to me. actually one of the main reasons im holding out on a lancer is to see what the '04 will look like. im a little disappointed with the current exterior styling...kinda dated

 

That's what I'm hoping for the new 2004 Lancer, brand new face and added performance. We'll just have to wait and see...

 

when do you think mitsu will begin to release info on the '04 lancer?

 

At least before the fall of 2004...so it would have to be before September...They would start to advertise the 2004 Lancer on or around Summer. It's not really info but more rather commercials.

i live in toronto and for my es it cost me 16995 tax, freight ...everything. yes i had to bargan. but they wanted 22900 for an oz. with the extra 5g's i could upgrade rims, sway bar, body kit and gauges , and still have money left over for more

 

Yea between August and October...around there.

depends i have a hook up for body kits and spoilers, i got a kaminari kit and evo VII installed and painted for 2000 cdn. Engine work is imported from the states. exhaust, intake and stuff like that, there are a ton of places in toronto. If you ever need body kits and stuff like that pm me and i'll give you a number to call for that.
