Slow Pickup?

I was just wondering how long it takes for
people's cars to pick up after flooring it...
It seems like I have a huge pause between
the time I floor it, to when you hear the
engine 'roar'. Is there anyway to improve this?
Thanks in advance.

Well, I'm sure people will tell you to search but I'll let you off the hook this once

Start modding...your car needs to breathe better, so the first thing is to get an intake. Then a cat-back exhaust system, header, bored throttle body and a bored Intake Manifold. That help with throttle responce and breathing. You can go down that road if you want to do bolt-ons. OR

Go TURBO

It's up to you but that's a start in the right direction for you.

If you have manual get a bigger throttle body, ported intake manifold, bored fuel rail, and you should be fine.

Next thing I think you should get is a cat-back exhaust system(Magnaflow or GReddy)

Interesting because thats what i was thinkin about this thread.

No reason to complain if u got the turbo on layaway. When u put it in then u probably wont complain about slow acceleration.

And just remember, it is gonna acclerate slow b/c this is not a race car its a beautiful family sedan.
