I really need to know if I can install a momo steering wheel on a lancer? I already bought the thing thinking I could and now I have problems finding a steering wheel hub adaptor for our lancers. If any body has any infos please help.

Ok. finally I found it. It is made by a JDM campany called splash. It is sold by a store in NY called Z1 performance. If any body has any question they can Pm me?

Are you sure that's the hub for US Lancers? Cuz I bought a sparco for my ride too, and I've never been able to find an adaptor for it. This is certainly good news for a lot of us, cuz I don't want the evo steering wheel, I prefer after market ones.
Can you give me the website or tell me about the price of it? thanks.

 

I've e-mail them(Z1 performance) yesterday, not sure if that's the store you were talking about, but they told me that the hub they carry is for the evos, and he's not sure if it'll fit the Lancers.
If I email the wrong guy, please let me know, cuz I want a set of adaptor for my car as well, and it would be really cool if you can hook me up. Thanks.

I figured since the evo steering wheel fits on a regular lancer then why shouldn't the hub. from the pictures if looks like it will. but I guss I have to get it to find out.

 

r u getting a steering wheel with an airbag? Reason i ask is i thought it was illegal to remove an airbag.

 

yeah its illegal to not drive with the airbag in the car, it's not illegal to swap a good airbag into a new steering wheel.

 

no I got the momo jet steering wheel. It doesn't come with an airbag. I'm not sure if it is illigal or not but I havn't had a airbag in my car for about 4 months now and I've been pulled over 5 times duting that time. the cop never metioned anything. so they most not care or may be It's OK to not have one in WA.
