yesss.. i've already searched and read through over a dozen posts about the cedia headlights.. my question is.. is it expensive to just buy it in japan and send it over? my gf is going back to japan for the summer and she's willing to buy them for me.. but i'm just curious if it's cheaper to get them off ebay or buy them directly from the dealer.. (btw, you DO buy these at the mitsu dealership in japan, rite?) oh.. and are parts cheaper to buy in japan (from the dealership?).. i want to get the evo viii steering wheel and the cedia headlights from the dealer and maybe some goodies from other places.

 

if you searched well.. you would find a thread where you can get them for 270 if it's not over yet. i find that pretty cheap. the thread is located somewhere in Private for sale/wanted. Just look in there.

 

Yeah hes right but I am pretty sure a lot of ppl jumped all over the idea of those lights that thread was pretty popular for a while.... me personally I dont care for the head lights myself.

 

I would say, check the private classifieds cause the price constantly changes. 1 guy will have one price, and someone else will be cheaper. I'd say the 270 is pretty cheap.

 

thanks guys! actually, like i said, i searched through those pages for the longest time.. i know lookslikeanevo was selling it for 270 with HID kid for 300 something.. but i was wondering if i should get on THAT deal, or buy it in japan directly? any ideas?

 

Hey, If your girlfriend can get them they would probably be easier to find and cheaper. The shipping is what would have killed you.

sonnguyen.. do you think shipping and purchasing the lights there personally would be cheaper than buying it from a vendor here or from ebay? i mean.. these vendors obviously want to make some kinda of profit.. so i'm hoping it'd be a lot cheaper! hahaha... wishful thinking but a guy can only pray

 

Why not get your girlfriend to get them for you in Japan and come back home with them?

 

I am sure if you get it from mitsu dealer in japan will be more than 270....I think they charge at least 200-300 each piece unless you were talking about junk yard in japan otherwise 270 is already a great deal for sure! You can ask your girl to check even you are not buying from japan.
