I was just wondering if anyone out there thought of selling your lancer. By lancer I mean just the regular US lancer no EVO or RA. I was just wondering this myself as I am contemplating selling my lancer to get something possibly an RSX (Type-S hopefully) if I do go through with it. I am not done paying off the car yet, but I can sell it for more than I owe on it. Any comments or stories about people who did this would be nice also.

I thought about selling but even though it's slow I still like it. Plus I just bought a condo so now I really can't afford a more expensive car. The Evo will just have to wait.

 

even though my lancer is slow i still like it. if i had the opportunity to get a faster car i might depending on what it was.

i drove a 92 geo metro for like 4 years.. im thankful for what i have now lol. it may not be fast for nascar but its good enough for me

 

i like my lancer, but i wish it had a bit more pep to it. I would sell mine for something like a ralliart, thats good enough for me at least.

 

yeah, i agree with camaro up there...i wish the car had more pep...but its still fun to drive

 

I've been contimplating what I am going to do when the car is fully paid off. I think I'm going to keep my Lancer as my daily driver and possibly upgrade to something like a used Evo. That is assuming I have the money for it. Right now though I plan on working on my Lancer, cause I think that it's a unique ride to work on.

It might not be fast, it might not look as great, but it has the potential to be faster and look better. Plus everyone has the RSX around here.

i too plan on fixing up my lancer. i guess im doing the 'bolt on' route or w/e rather than the turbo. i dont plan to go overboard with it but at the same time i just hope its not a waste of time :\

 

i'm selling mine to get an evo, but that's me, i'm not thrilled about having the same interior, but i'm sure i'll get over it when i hit the accelerator pedal.

 

it has a fine interior..... specially the evo version....

 

I like my lancer. Power, or lack of, is the only thing I think sucks.

when it comes to the question of whether or not i want to sell my lancer its always about money, if your finnacially okay to upgrade to something better then id say go for it.
