IMO its a lot cheaper. only spent $120 on my aftermarket system rather than $250+ on a name brand. here are some pics. and oh yes it sounds grreeaatttt.

exhaust tip is basically sound only.. you only get decent gains with 2 1/2s all the way back.. from your cat.. i mean ya thats a heck of a steal 25$ for exhaust tip but basically its all sound and no real big preformace gains..

warning becareful of ur new exhaust it will cause u to get worse gas mileage
(at least for me it did cause at every red light i'd gun it just to hear my exhaust )
keep up the good work

I think you meant muffler, not tip. His setup is a complete 2.5 catback exhaust with a the muffler welded on the piping. It would have been the same to have gotten a magnaflow catback or a greddy catback or a buscher catback, but he saved a bundle on just going the custom route. An exhaust tip is just a peice that you buy at pepboys that fits over a stock muffler exhuast that looks pretty and shiney.

To complete the exhaust system he'd have to get headers downpipe and a better flowing cat. And 2.25-2.5 is cool, just so long as it isn't bigger than that, otherwise you have issues with back pressure.

yah thas exactly what i was thinking thas why I just went with a custom system. only thing that sucks now is that since it is just a little loud gotta watch out for cops giving me ever more BS. I had a cop yesterday follow directly behind me for at least...2 miles last night. if my foot would have slipped and hit the gas too hard i know for sure i would have gotten pulled over.

Replaces the 2nd catalytic converter with a straight pipe (no restriction).
