Just got my first lancer
Just got my first lancer
Well I didn't JUST get it; I got it late October last year. It's a '93 CC Coupe GLXi. I bought it from a little old lady, and it only had 46,000Km's on it. I'm currently budgeting for a performance and rice overhaul. Thanks goes out to Foxx for telling me about this forum. I hope you're ready for me

That wasn't very nice Claude.... Everybody has to start somewhere. My first car was a POS 93' Seat Toledo with 171000 kilometers on it. 90 BHp and it got a pounding, let me tell you... FoderMe, hello and ignore his comment it's not his fault
Amen to that MichaelK
Not all of us can live it up in Monaco and drive an Evo, like our resident Richy Rich.
By the way, I started out with some good old American Muscle as my first car: Dodge Charger
but it was all pretty good after that.
91 Civic Si
Mini Cooper (My car when I moved back to England)
Suzuki Swift Gti
Chevrolet Cavalier Z24
Subaru Impreza 2.5RS

I hate to admit it but Claudius is right. It's my first lancer, not my first car. My first car was a torana, then I had a nova, then I had a colt and now the lancer ... hpefully I won't kill this one aswell
Hey Claude, I don't think anyone's jealous, I just don't think it's very cultivated to talk someone's car down as that's probably within the persons financial contraints and especially if they are happy with it. What makes a real tough guy tough, is when they don't look down on others.....

Michael, that was really mean.
I didnt think about the financial aspect, I thought he bought that Lancer because he wasnt able to get hold of an Evo or didnt know about it or sthg.
I dont think I was looking down at the car, I think it is just plain true to say that it will need a lot of mods to go fast. Apologies to all my emotional car driving friends

Hmmmm. First cars
My first was an '85 Buick Century. White. A real chick magnet. (got it in '93 with only 16,800 miles)
Next was a '97 Camry V6 5spd. Quick, for a Camry.
Next was an EVO VII in spring '03 ; ) (although the new Z sounds intriguing, starting at 26,200)
