Next ones I'm trying (after the stockers, platinums and two sets of iridiums) will be copper.
(still working out fuel and timing, hopeful that I'll be good to go by next weekend).

But that's just what I remember from NGK's own site
i changed my spark plugs a couple days ago and took pics of all the crap a person who really doesnt know what theyre doing should see, think i should attempt to make a how to thread?

oh please man, i would really appreciate it!!!
cuz my sparkplugs are needed to be changed, your contribution would be a great help to those who are not as knowledgable to cars like myself.
i'm planning to get it done this weekend, hopefully you have time to post a how-to this weekend!
Thanks,
Don
Seriously...it takes 5 minutes and it's really simple. If you don't look at the pictures and slap yourself for waiting for them, then you probably shouldn't be handling tools around your car.
i've purchased a spark plug gapper, what is the gapping if i'm planning to use NGK iridium spark plugs BKR5EIX-11 (iridium IX plugs)?
do i also need a torque meter to measure how tight i tighten the spark plug?

well, that's why i'm asking for your expertise...
i am a newbie in cars and DIY maintenance
i would really appreciate it if you guys can help me learn and gain some valuable experience with it.
If you know what a coil pack looks like and how to turn a wrench you should be able to do it from my description. I'm not tryin' to rag on you, but you coulda had it done a week ago.
You can get the OEM NGK plugs at Canadian Tires for 2/$5.95, but they will not list the Lancer in their manuals or computers, just go there with the part number as listed in your owner's manual and they will have the plugs there.
It a bit tricky to change the plugs on the Lancer since plug 2 and 4 is under an ignition coil, so you will have to remove the 2 bolts on the coil with a 10mm socket and lift it up to replace those 2 plugs.
