Is it covered under warranty still ??
I know there has been post talking about this.
I was at my local deal and was walking through the showroom and there it was. A 2003 Lancer OZ with a lot of after market parts on it.
Injen Short ram (marked at being a $299 add on)
17' rim and tires ($1200)
Exhaust ($700)
OZ leather ($1400)
carbon fiber dash kit ($???)
Car lists for $22,500 but who would buy it with that big of a price jump for the aftermarket parts.
So looking at this it must not be a warranty issue to put Exhaust and Intake on our cars if the dealership is doing it to new cars.

The only reason that car would be under warranty is because the dealer did those things to it. It doesn't neccessarily mean that if you were to do the same things, it would be under warranty.

Wellllll it depends on the exhaust work... You do header, Test pipe they tend to not warranty engine. Even if there are places for O2 sensors. Although you could remove and go back stock before getting to dealer... recommend this. Even though the engine warranty may be voided doesn't mean the tranny, brakes, etc are done as well. They will still service those parts unless you alter them. Good luck on warranty issues... Mitsubishi is very picky as eclipse, mirage, & golant owners have turned their stomachs to car mods!
