Option 1 - Stock
Option 2 - Black Out DIY or get someone else to
Option 3 - Projectors (I think there like 1200 USD for these and only available in Japan)
Option 4 - Some Hy-brid design of your own.

There have been some good hybrids like angle eyes and there have been some nasty/stupid ones too. People replacing turnsignals with foglights, rewiring their lights so that the high beem and low beems are backwards.

Regardless what you do a nice HID kit is always available and looks good.

If your car is black or thunder grey I would do a Blackout headlight with a HID
If you are silver or White I would leave the housing stock and do a HID

I have no positive opinions for other lancer colours as I dont like them

I think that the blacked out headlights look good on any color. My ES is white and I blacked them out yesterday, and it looks so much better. Another thing to do would be get some eyelids as well.
