I went to Street Warriors 2, In San Antonio. I have to say had fun watching the few evos and all the other cars tearing it up on the strip.
While watching the races the announcer said they were having a smokey burnout contest, and it was free to enter.
I thought what the hell can I lose. So I put my name on the list...
I was the 6th and last person to signup. Winner gets $200, 2nd place gets $100.
So bout 30 min roll by and he calls us up to get things started.
I pulled in last and seen what was in front of me.
1967 Chevy Nova, 2002 Trans Am, those were the only 2 I seen the rest were to far up.
I'm waiting for my turn, finily the trans am in front of me finishes...
I sooooo wanted to turn around and chicken out but said **** it.
Rolled up there and announcer sittin there makin fun of me.. audiance is laughing.
So I hit my Ebreak and slam on the gas... 5 secs go by and tires start smoking...
55secs later I was done, Pulled over to the side with the other cars and waited for the judging.
And what do I hear... the Mitsu and the 67 nova go to round 2. Needless to say I was shocked. So my 2nd run goes by and bout half the smoke as last time flys up, Nova gets up there and kicks my ****. I got 2nd place!!! In a stock ES.
Made my $100 for new tires so ha! Watch out I might have to jump on the track here soon lol....

good job, but watch out, entering shows/other stuff is addicting and will most likely lead to spending lots of money on ur car, lol, like me and 90% of everyone else on this forum. man, wish i was there, must have been fun to smoke out cars twice as fast as u

dont try to spin avs es 100's lol i did a great burnout on my stockers but i cant even chirp those yokos (not that i want to they are waaay too expensive!)
even with soap and stuff on the ground i could barely turn them they just pulled me around

I use to chirp/burn stock tires just gunning it.

hey jj i was there...and saw everything...when i saw you pull up i was like "whoa, what is this guy thinking...going against a 1967 Chevy Nova, 2002 Trans Am, 1987 camero, and an old school impala...", when you pulled up i was thinking, this guy has some ***** against rwd cars doing this...but damn you did a good job doing the b\o...what kind of intake do you have..because all you can hear was whom-whom-whom-whom-whom-whom when you high rev'd it...all i have to say is you had some ***** against them domestics like that!
