Aftermarket cruise control anyone?

Has anyone installed an aftermarket cruise control in their Lancer? If so how is it?
I don't care about price, just want to know how it is and where you got it.

Why would you want one We already have them in stock, or is it optional for ES?

Nope, optional on my ES, and I don't have it, but wish I did since I do all long distance highway driving, that's why I am asking about them.

I think someone is selling their Lancer steering wheel with cruise control, might rather buy that, it's easier..

It's a steering wheel from an ES, so it should match your interior too.

Yeah but I still need the whole cruise unit from under the hood too, so just a wheel does no good.

If I knew what parts I needed to remove/replace I'd probably sell mine to someone who wanted it. I have no use for CC and it was standard on the OZ.

Well if anyone wants to do the legwork for me I'll certainly consider it.

I'm replacing my Throttle body with a 1g Eclipse TB and will therefore lose my cruise control as well. Maybe I'll play around and try to figure out what all is involved in the cruise control.

Not to go off topic, but what's the bore on the 1g DSM TB, and is it a direct bolt-on?

Well when you all figure what comes off for the cruise control, let me know what you want for it.

I'm not going to figure it out. Quite frankly I don't care whether or not I have it. If you want to figure it out I'll consider selling it to you though, depending upon how annoying it is and whether I need to remove essential parts.

for cruise control you would need steering wheel, throttle body and one other thing i think

there is a vac line that leads to the CC unit on top of the TB (the little brass hat) but i forget where it comes from.....a pump i believe
