I am going to get the RRM ported one soon. But as of right now I do not have anything done to the IM.

When I did this mod, I was able to reuse the old gasket no problem. But just in case, I had gasket maker by my side. Easy to make any shape, so I knew I wouldn't need to buy one from mitsu. I guess RRM assumes people know what they're doing before they try to mod their engine parts. You'll have to excuse them if they don't realize people who shouldn't be doing DYIs are doing so blindly. Sorry to sound crude, but I never went whining to a shop that sold a car part when I didn't know what was involved in installing it. And believe me, I got myself into some situations I should have known better!!!

I was thinking about the bigger gasket. Since the TB is bored out more, won't the gasket cover up some of the whole. Should it be ok it I just cut the gasket hole a little bigger to fit the bore?

Oh I know what you're talking about. I didn't mean to whine or anything if it seems like it came off like that. I was just mad that I took it off and noticed it. I should have obviously figured there was one there, but I actually never thought of it. It really isn't that big of a problem to me, I just felt like typing it at the time LOL.

Well I put the throttle body in last night.

I have to say:

I can get off the line easier and quicker. Power seems to be better throughout the whole power band. I can chirp the tires a lot easier now, so I'll have to be safer now driving, LOL.

I will do more testing though, after install last night, I only went to Wendy's and back. I installed it at 11:30 last night because someone from RRM called me up and wanted their core throttle body back! LOL! J/P I will ship it out this morning or tomorrow morning, I promise.

Try carquest. They have worked out for me a couple of times in the past. just tell them what size you need and you may be in luck. probably will cost about two bucks

I have a roll of universal gasket material from PepBoys (side note, it doesn't work well for waste gate gaskets , blew that thing instantly, which I expected). That would work just fine for a TB though. That plus RTV would definitely work.

So far TB has turned out great!

Also my CEL hasn't come on after install.

Raced one of the new civics tonight, kinda. We were just driving along and both went. Probably from about 30 MPH roll. We were about the same, maybe I was a little ahead. Not sure since I was looking straight lol. All I know he had was an exhaust. Not sure what else was done.

Oh ya.. and this was on a closed track for racing... :/
