new product: performance gauge

was just cruising around and saw this thing:

http://www.boostcontroller.com/index...6category%3D98

its like one of those g-tech things, but in gauge form i guess. anyways, it looks pretty cool and personally i like it better than having to mount something on my dash or windshield and have to plug it into the ciggy lighter (like the g-tech)

just curious if anyone had one or has any information on it. i might pick one up in a little while

Wow, that is much better than the GTech. I used a GTech in my car before, I never thought it was accurate though.

Does anyone know how accurate these are?

yeah, i've heard the new gtech's are pretty accurate for g's (accel, decel, and lateral) and 0-60 and 1/4 are pretty accurate. i still don't trust anything that relies solely on accelerometers for hp though

must.......resist..........buy button

A detailed breakdown of the most popular G-tech alike gauges was done in one of the last issues of Super Street or something (got mags coming out my ears, not sure which one it was). Sampled 6/7 units with ranging prices and features. But, if I remember correctly, the newest G-tech (for the price) was the overall winner. Any one else seen what I'm taking about; what mag was that?

Actually, it probally was Motor Trend or Car and Driver. They like to do those sorts of side-by-side product comparisons.

The Gtech that I used was the very first one that came out. Soo that's why I think it wasn't REAL accurate. It was pretty good though.
