I was wondering if the deyeme sway bar bushings work with the progress sway bar? Anybody have these yet?

 

Not sure why you'd want to. The Progress bar comes with poly bushings to start with. But if it says it fits the Lancer, than it won't fit the Progress bar because it uses a much different type of bushing than the stock bar.

 

Yeah I've had a squeak coming from the rear of my car for the last six months and I've heard it could be the sway bar. If the bushings are already basically the same thing though, I won't bother getting new ones. Currently I'm thinking the squeak is the exhaust hangers but I'll have to wait till my kartboy replacements arrive to confirm that.

 

you may have your sway tightend down too much... i think thats my problem. Mine didnt sqeek until i tighted it down really well when i installed my teins.

Yeah I'll see if the new hangers do the trick, its weird cause the squeak goes away when its raining out.

 

mine never goes away since i ripped out all of my noise dampening hehe...i might just spray the whole underbody of the car with WD40 and hope for the best....ok that wasn't even funny but yeah, i hope the hangers do the trick for you since that noice really starts to get on your nerves after a while.
