I think they would take the auto for a manual. most people are looking for comfort, not something they have to do more work to get to the same place plus I think the es is cheaper than the ls.

ES is cheaper than the LS. Economy Sedan vs Luxury Sedan.

Congrats on the new car. Enjoy the OZ.

Good call, OZ is the way to go.

As for speed, you're just as fast. Same motor, more weight. You might actually be slower. Don't forget, mods like an intake (too lazy to see what you have) reduce low end torque, but increase top end. Your factory OZ will seem to accelerate better and be jumpier than an ES with an intake.

Sounds like you got an awesome deal. Enjoy.

Speaking of low end torque, intake reduces torque and increases top end, what if I skip the intake on the new one and just install my catback? would that also reduce torque?

Well, I can see why he did that, I mean, he did say he got $500 more for the ES than he actually owed on it. So that he basically got all the shiny stuff on the new car for free. Why would he then keep the ES and spend extra money on stuff he could get for free ?

Maybe because a RalliArt would've set him back at least another 4k ?

Anyways, I'll probably stop by tomorrow Slovak to help ya take off some stuff from the ES and to check out the car, after my prior engagements in the morning, and after getting the car clean . Maybe you can then make it to the meet ? have some pics taken by sifu of 2 lancers ?

I'm thinking about trading in my ES for a ralliart. That probibly won't happen though, i'm sure I owe more than it's worth currently. Maybe i will just saved up for an evo and take a greater leap in debt.
