Alright yeah i know I dont drive an Evo but I'm always hearing hate crimes and against the Lancer family.. I live in Columbus drive a 02 Lancer Oz Rally Dropped 2.5 inches 18 inch gunmetal metal with chrome lip Enkies... anyway two nights ago someone shattered both back windows.. slit my tires... stole my head unit.. apexi i monitor... smashed my hood and ripped my dash and F'd it completely up where stuff dosent even work now... when are these ppl going to stop this sh*t...?

 

People here in Ohio are straight retards when comes cars. This crap happens all of the time around here. Jealous people(AKA haters, I know played term but applies still) and these weak a** crooks. I hope you had insurance that would cover all of that, I know mine doesn't

I have a group of exclusive friends! EVO/Z owners and that is it. I don't talk **** to other people unless they start it and then I try and avoid them as much as possible. I have learned that no matter what you say or do some people will envy you and your possesions.

Tips to prevent this in the future:
Stay as low profile as possible. Avoid conversations about whos car is faster. Play nice with the other kids. Don't own a nice car unless you have a nice place to park it (Like a garage). Don't hang out with idiots as guilt by association comes into play often. Don't buy ricey stuff, this draws attention to you and your car and makes it a target to people with less than you. There are plenty more and in some cases you just can't avoid it.

True, but that being said, Id say its even odds that the person was targeting the driver or the car b/c its a modded foreign car. Whether its right or not, there are people that hate imports and are willing to do things like this to make that clear.

Not saying its the owners fault, just trying to be realistic.
