What Covereage does everybody have 2002 ES

Hey All,

I am wondering what kind of coverage everybody has on their 2002 Lancer. My insurace is due and I currently have 100,000/300,000/100,000 and I am paying 1300. I was wondering if this is over doing it.

Thanks to all who respond.

By all accounts, the 2002 and 2003 Lancers are the same. I guess the 2002 is older, so that might affect insurance a little, but to give you another idea, I drive an '03 OZ and right now have 50,000/100,000/50,000 w/ a $500 deductible and pay $43.45 a month. I'm 25, no tickets, no accidents, married, and have 2 cars insured (Lancer and the other is liability only Escort) and a renter's policy.

mine is 1200 every 6 months with collision (not sure of the deductible), but that is on an OZ, not sure if there would be any difference in that and es, i am 17 so that makes mine fairly expensive. and since they dont hold value too well, im thinking of dropping the collision soon.

Man you all pay a lot of money a month. Are most of you single, and young? Just trying to get an idea. I guess location also makes a difference.\

Z_Lancer_Man, location does make a good bit of difference. But what company do you use? I'm also 25, married, no tickets, multi-cars (including an Escort, hehe), etc... I've got Nationwide at about $130/mo

im 17, no tickets, 1 not at fault accident, 1600 every 6 months with 1000 deductible. my sister is 19 with an 02 es and has 2 tickets, 2 at fault accidents, and her insurance rate is still cheaper. i thought it was illegal to have different rates based on gender, race, etc., im not sure, but isnt that considered sexism?
