Where to p/u a Walbro w/ filter....?

Hey, its been a little while. Cars been outta commission after all the headwork/turbo install. It seems to be that the fuel pump has gone bad, but i cant find anywhere to buy one with a filter. I do find shops that offer the 255 but they are alway marked evo. So could someone point me in the right direction as to where to pick this up or even what to look for (i dont mind finding it but i dont know what im looking for (ie: eclipse pump or evo pump, ive heard either). Still searching though.......thanks

a Walbro 255 is what u need to look for...the evo is the same...i belive there all the same just come with different connections.....but the EVO one will fit our cars. i need to buy one too

edit: and i just was told that the Fuel filter is inside the plastic housing above wher the fuel pump is.....that yellow mesh is not the filter.....i guess its like a pre-filter. this is what told me

Lol yes, i went into looking for an oz around here and found one too. Went and looked at it, it was in horrible condition (imho). You could see where they straitened(sp?) the front left fender and resprayed it (with tons of drippage) and the back bumper, check this, my uncle came with me....he crawled under the back bumper and was like, come here check this out. The hydrolic shocks (or what ever type of shocks for impact), you could see where there was a fluid residue, like an oil spill on the back bumper, where the two steel brackets come together. He said that it was probibly from an impact in the rear, also i could see some bondo fixes on the back right wheel well and more spray with tons of drippage. Anyway, cant find an oz worth buying so ill wait until i can, until then i have to get some transportation. Thanks for the info LG03! Where are you going to order yours from? I was pretty sure the filter was outside and on the bottom. It clips on the bottom of the pump right? Anyway i was also worried about fitment where the pump slides into the housing....where the feed nipple goes in b/c on this one that i have it has some rubber washers to make it snug. Will my new one have these as well?

The evo ones fit our car. Also, you can just reuse the filter from your old pump. If not you can buy a complete setup at JDM-spec they have a filter but it is huge compared to ours. You are going to have to bend the filter a little bit to fit it in. IMO I would just use the stock filter. And if you aren' t sure that it is your fuel pump and don't wanna spend a lot of money I one I have a 255 lying around that I can sell for cheap.
