lower the stakes a bit...bet him $20 and find out just how slow you are really are in the 1/4 mile...i wouldn't even race him for that kind of cash and if you check my signature....i think i might be a little quicker

 

You'll waste him.

My parents got a 2003 Trailblazer LS and its pretty slow. It'll pull on you eventually but the race will be over by then.

 

i race my friend all the time and he has a 4.3lt v6 silverado 2004 and i beat him all the time and he has a custom exhaust and a SRI and from the look of your mods the only thing you have that i dont have is headers so id say its a safe bet

 

if you're friend has his launch down...he'll kill you. if he launches horribly then i can see it being a little more feasible....(sorry my last post may have come off a bit arrogant and harsh it wasn't intended that way...what i was trying to get at is: it's not worth the money with the odds you're at right now...tell him you'll race w/o stakes, buy yourself a new mod or two, basicly do anything to make your car quicker with that $200 and you'll probably enjoy much more) ....if you do choose to race him...good luck.

 

offtopic: what track is it and when are you running? I haven't seen many MO Lancers and we just had a meet in STL on Sat.

 

Keep your money. Don't race.
