haha my bad...i didnt know that certain cars have to have it...cuz i see lancer ES and LS with out one....unless they are broken...

 

they have it in the window bro. instead of the wing they stuck it in the window.

 

all cars are required to have 3 rear mounting break lights, ( from the factory ) but the local laws ( where i live ) say that only 1 must work... so no 3rd break light, no officer, its just burnt out.

 

in cali we get fixits for sure.

 

my advice is dont put it on , stop fakin the funk please , i dont put mr badges on my gsr evo

 

go and preach to the ones that have the evo9 rear bumper on their 8 mmmm- k-?

there shouldnt be a law about having a 3rd brake light, there are many cars that were manufactured without them, so dont worry about it (i dont think cops would really care anyways)

 

then again cops are *******s so u may want to worry about it, maybe not immediately but soon.

Oh yeah, it's not the evo spoiler, it's called the 'high wing', it's a factory option on all JDM/USDM (non evo) lancer.

 

Ive looked into this cause I was wondering about the 3'rd brake light. With any searching you will find in most states you need 3 brake lights on the rear. Most people dont notice that anyway. If you are really worried get the wing and depo tails. then technically you have 4 brake lights. and look even more like an evo. Dont worry about it
