Exclamation Need Help ... Quick ...

Hey everyone ... i have 2 problems i need help with ... i know alot of you guys are gonna think .. waste of time .... but .. oh well ... i just got that intake from ebay .. and i tried putting it in .. but now my battery doesnt fit ... and my car doesnt seem to be running good? i found a how to, but that didnt really help .. no details ... maybe someone can help me .. imma take it out and re do it sunday ... also .. i got a short shifter from ebay .. i read that how to on this site with the other short shifter .. but that really doesnt help either cause of different it is and i didnt get all of those items .. so maybe someone can help me with this too .. i plan on putting it in on sunday as well .. thanks ... it be best if u PM me or email me ... but ill make sure to check this thread as well ... Thanks lancer buddies ... all for one and one for all hahaha .. wait thats the 3 musketeers ... lol ...

The install instructions you find on this site apply to your scenario. All intake installs are pretty straight forward and the short shifter install that is provided by B&M is as good as it gets.

you can slide the battery more towards the front of the car, it has room to play. That should solve the battery problem. If not then you probably need to go out and purchase a smaller cone filter(if its a short ram intake that you bought).

As for the short shifter problem, i cant help you there b/c i drive an auto.

if you bought a short ram, the only reason your car should be running bad now is because you might not have reconnected the PCV tube from the valve cover to the intake tube. I was messing with my stock intake one time and left that off accidentally and it ran like ***. but thats all i can think of.

did you disconnect the negative battery wire to reset the ecu after install??

oh yeah, if you do that, don't you have to drive it normally for a while and not be hard caude it kinda resets the ECU?
