well actually.... after when I put the Magnaflow HFC that the cel came out and livelyjay thanks for the info but I just want to know if it would be a waste of money...I never asked for how to do it>>>>> so yes I do know how to use the search, im a geek!!...lol

 

If you have the stock header and a high flow cat, the CEL should not come on because the pre-cat is still there. RPW header + HFC, CEL is not as likely I guess since WADAD said the RPW headers rarely cause this. Any other header + HFC = CEL. It was probably just a coincidense that the CEL came on right after you did the HFC because it was due to come on any ways.

 

weird thing happened.... I was ready to fix my CEL last saturday but then on friday night when I got out of work the CEL is gone??????? probably it might be just that it hasnt read the cat yet at first but now it does?..??? but well I still appreciate the help of everyone!!!!
