almost done! i ended up using the cheapest primer avaliable at autozone, and i chose the medium expensive gloss black paint at autozone. and at the end, i'll spray a light coat of $8 metalic black that i used for my dash before. i took pictures through out every step so i'll make a write up on how to black out 04 headlights~

xtian has done it before, he said he followed the how to for the 02-03 Lancer headlights, but I still think its a good idea to make a write up for the 04's, regardless if its similar to the other how to. great job man, can't wait to see the finished product. Haven't seen xtian on here for a while now, but you could contact him about it, because he did this as well.

arrrg...so many little dust bumps on the surface.... eh well... its not that obvious. and im just gonna leave it gloss black cuz it looks really nice now. man i cant wait to put everything back together...but i think letting the paint completely dry before cooking the lights again would a great idea..right?
makes me wish I had an OZ instead of the ES, just because of the headlights....lol, cause I'm too much of ***** to try this DIY....haha. Hopefully arnold's write up will make me want to do it.
