Headlight Question

When the headlight switch is in the middle, (not off but not full on), there is a small light (circled in red) that illuminates.

Does anyone know if i could swap it out for a blue bulb?
If i do, is it legal to do?

Thanks in advance for any help.

P.S. I did search but I could not find anything.

I'm fairly certain it would be illegal, since only cops are meant to have blue or red lights.

I am thinking about adding another switch so that i could control it's illumination.

but what about the LED scatter lights that APC and other companies make?

That's the effect I wanted but using an existing circuit.

Just because they sell it doesn't mean its legal, lots of companies sell test pipes, tint, etc. but those can be illegal. Never seen the APC lights, generally speaking I don't like APC.

no it not illegal becuz everything is legal for off road use and its not like your going to be driving around with your parking lights on. Also its not going to be flashing or anything so it wouldnt look like a cop. But you would have to find a light that is blue i doubt anybody sell any. you might be able to find a cover for it that is blue.
Edit: Just cuz they sell it doesnt make it legal, true But if it means its legal in some places becuz if it was completely illegal the gov wouldnt allow it to be sold.

? It's legal for offroad use, thats how they get away with it. Technically you can't have HIDs on a car that they didn't come stock with, but people still do. Technically its illegal to have tint on the front windows, but people still do it, do you see what I'm getting at? The question is whether you want to risk it, and if you're not gonna see it, whats the point?

Just to let u know your edit is slightly skewed. If they label it in anyway for Off road use it is still illegal on regular roads. Not being an *** just pointing out

The part number should be in your manual.

i think its just #192, i put a 4-led white bulb there for a year and have seen many cops but they dont care. (i also have 4500K CATz headlights)

the thing is, u wanna try to avoid any attention by the cops, but some cops are cool and they wont waste their time over ur darn tiny light bulbs, u know wat i mean?

You can't even tell with the headlights on.

Pretty cool I guess.
I had some blue lights in the front but got tired of looking like a Christmas tree.
