lol.... i actually was planning to spray them white... but i recognized that grey doesnt look that bad either, so i clear coated it

I'm assuming you used aircraft stripper? That **** is visciuos causes cancer. It says on the bottle that it may destroy some plastics. I did something similar while trying to strip a radar detector some dummy sprayed blue. Had to throw it all away.

At least it was only cosmetic and not TOO noticeable from outside the car. Of course, the person I am, I would look in your car and wonder how you got albino knobs.

well it doesnt look that bad. I sanded it like 20 times.... but dang i think the paint that i used sucks, it looks like its always wet, but its actually dry to the touch....

That's good, but did you use an oil-based or latex on them? Latex always leaves a shine.
