I just got a call from mitsubishi on a new recall being done on the Radiator Fan has new one heard of this.

Are you talking about the Radiator fan controller maybe?

 

I did recieve a general recall letter but didnt say specifically for the lancer, it said call and find out so this might be it.

 

Heh, I wouldn't do it even if I got the recall in the mail, it might spin so fast your car will never warm up, sort of like the other recall with the rpm hangs and weird idle problems ever since we got it done.

 

Thats what I was thinking, or the Rad Cap.

I bet they finally figured that one out. I reported that **** in August of '02 and they were like hmmm bad cap, give me $13 and you can have this new one.

 

Probably just the fan controller module from another recall.

 

Okay just got home and went to the mitsu dealership and the recall deals with the Radiator Fan Controller switch which of course causes the fan to fail which causes overheating. Some models have a faulty one and needs to be replaced as far as i know this only applys to the Lancer 02s. It takes about an hour to do and im gonna get mine done on monday cause i dont know what i have to do today. (on a side note i went to court from my ticket and was free to go because the cop has not callibrated her Laser gun in over 6mos HAHA my perfect record is still perfect.)
