I hate it when the sellers only show pics of the product, not of it actually on the car.

I have had those black lights for a couple years. The bulb holes on the back were not keyed for the light sockets so I had to cut some with a dremel on the back. I sealed the lights all they way around the edges with plumbers putty and I used self sealing tape around the bulb sockets.

Even with all that I still get a tiny bit of condensation, only in the fall when its foggy outside.

School, school, school, driving the UPS truck, playing with motorcycles. I figured I'd come back and help if I could.

The manufacturer is SONAR. And the spot the ebay seller says is the DOT thingy, on mine its just a part number.

I would stick with the ones you have right now IMO, but it is YOUR car. Do what you want to do.

Whats wrong with the ones you got right now?
Isnt TYC a reputable brand anyway rather than a generic eBay product?

I have the Carbon fiber tyc tails(2 fast 2 furious evo tails). I kinda like them although I wish I got some black depos instead. pics of it on my red 03 on my cardomain page. I had them in VA and they were fine, 1 winter here in maine and one leaked. I fixed with with silicone and then my other one started leaking so I gotta fix that, overall they are decent tails. But I would reinforce the seal to start with when and if you get them.

hope this helps
