I get that on a rare ocasion but most of the times i think it happends when i put it into first to hard or something, ususaly that doesnt happen, even when im shifting at redline as quick as i can.

I frequently have a problem shifting into 2nd on the Lancer. It seems to depend on the car's mood or something. I just try to be conscious and shift with more authority. Also, how many miles are on yours? It wasn't until I was at around 40k miles that the shifter finally felt smooth. Same for many of my friends and their Lancers as well.

A little impatient, eh? Well, I emphasize "little", you're not that bad really. Some people can't wait 2 minutes, let alone 2 hours
