Anyone used these pads before???

Probably in need of some new pads since the front left is screaming at me like my wife at lower rotation speeds. Anyhow, has anyone tried using either of these... ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT ) or ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT ). Yes I search both brand names, but nothing came up. Anyone with personal experience with either--Lancer or not, thanks.

Better of just buying Axxis or Porterfields as people actually have some experience with them.

Well, with the ceramics above...they "say" dust free and we all know what dust we get from the Axxis Ults. Just thinking of new alternatives, with a lower price.

I have the ultimates as well and the only time I get substantial brake dust is when I drive really hard.

Its the exact same here. Axxis metal masters make a pretty good amount of brake dust too.

Now that I re-read that title...that's funny ****. Anyhow, forgot mention I have slotted/CD'd Brembos too. Yeah, my silver rims turn gunmetal (for 1 week of not getting washed) and bronze (if waiting longer than 2 weeks).

If you want to stop on a dime you'll have to live with the dust issue.

Look at Hawks HPS, Porterfield, and Axis. Don't be cheap on brakes.

Please, no lessons on sentence structure today. Anyhow, I know about the quality of Axxis and dust issue really isn't an issue- I wash the car once a week (usually). I just wanted to know if anyone has used them and how'd they work out?

Thanks.

I have porterfield R4S pads....they are OK but not great. I recently swapped cars with a Z06 driver and his brakes were WAY FRICKEN better than mine. I'm not sure if the straight R4 pads would be much better but I dont recommend the R4S pads. Not only are they average on the track they make noise on the street. http://media.putfile.com/Darth_vs_Zoey

What is the best RACE ONLY pad available?

Z06 Brakes and Evo Brakes. Isn't that comparing aples and oranges?

I had the Porterfields on my Lancer and they were great. Way better than my current Hawk Pads. They were noisy only for the first few weeks and then they were as quiet as my stock pads.

look at the shipping cost too, add $10 to the $39 pads, add $14 to the $21 pads.

u can be our guinea pig, or u can stick with wath we know works, for a little bit more money id say try one of those pads and do a write up on them
