my new pulley and CAI came today from RRM....


they lied to me tho...

i ordered it on wednesday...they said it'd be here by monday or tuesday...it's friday and i got it, neener neener..thanks rrm! tomorrow it's getting installed, i'll take some photos! wo0t!

 

just be sure to take the photos and write a review if you're installing it. I'm thinking of getting the pulley after christmas.

uhm, the CAI won't work..i don't have the stock intake and i need the curved tubing that goes from the throttle body to the intake sensor and the intake tubing...

 

it's not like they ship it themselves, blame UPS, Fedex, or who ever they use to ship. you can't really guarantee shipping unless its like next day or 3-day.

anyways get that thing installed!!!! seems like veryone has their pulley but they don't have it installed. blueballs

 

i wasn't complaining about the shipping, i was supprised they got it to me in two days..lol..when he said it'd be almost a week...my pulley is going in first thing tomorrow morning.

 

Those scoundrels! Have they no compassion for the sanctity of proposed ship dates?

texas isn't that far, seems about right. they are good about shipping things out the same day or next day when they have it in stock

 

 

Ironically enough, I actually AM mad because a company shipped something too quickly. They said it would leave their warehouse in TX early next week and get to LA around the 16th when we will be contacted for a delivery appointment. Well, the thing got to LA this Wednesday, and they tried to deliver it without an appointment. My fiancee is at school working on finals and I can't get to her house until 4pm at the earliest. Well, we were lucky and found someone to receive it (it's a bed, so this isn't some small package to just hand someone). The shipping company actually said that they do get in trouble a lot around the holidays because gifts arrive too early (yes, this is her x-mas gift, but I didn't care about a surprise because there's no way she wouldn't figure out a 6'x4' box from her favorite furniture designer)

Anyway, sorry for ranting about the non important part of this thread. Just wanted to share.

 

the only thing i was mad about in the shipping was that the carrier left the goods sitting on my front door... ;\

 

That helps our average when factoring all the late stuff. SWEET!

The only time I've ever had something late from you was when an item was backordered (it's like these manufacturers close their machines down for months at a time!)
