i have a 04ES with headlights inside painted similar color to my car. Im planning on ordering spray paint of the color of my car from paintscratch.com and i was thinking if i shoul order eyelids and paint them myself. what companies make eyelids? accolade and rrm? any other? which has best fitment and looks? thank you guys. Here enclosed a photoshop of my car with and without eyelids. please help me decide if i should do it or no. Thanks

 

those are some big eyelids.. try RRM. their good to deal with

check ebay for official accolade eyelids, we were the first ones to make the eyelids for 04 lancer others either copied our shape or followed us...

i photoshopped it... i dunno how big the real ones are... i was searching thru the registry and found around 15 04+s with eyelids (only used search word=eyelids) and only a very few of them actually turn out nice..... one of them was red with 4 PIAA huge off road lights, and one was a black with a huge body kit

Go with ACCOLADE eye lids....best finishing. Getting them painted might be pain in the *** but they will look good too

 

i was looking at accolades pics and i found that the pointy side doesnt really line up with the edge of the hood... does rrm have the same problem?

i was thinking of making my own actually....... is fiberglassing hard? :-D

 

i don't really like eyelids on our cars, they don't look that good to me. its really up to you, but i think our cars look better without them.

 

but the headlights are weird looking........ well maybe i can spend the $100 on something else.... i'll see... maybe i need some rims..

 

lol shamless plug. go with rrm, not accolade, imho a better and safer bet, and ive seen them in person i think they look a little better.

 

I'm not a fan of eyelids but if you were to buy them, order them from RRM
