upgrade clutches for auto?
Automatic doesnt have a clutch... it has a Torque Converter. That's why no one is replying, do ur research before u ask a question please.
I just noticed it says u drive a "S2000". S2000 aren't sold in Auto transmission they are exclusively manual.

Riceburner... why dont u get smart and REGISTER ur vehicle... hmmm? See on the side where it says "Drives: "??? That's so people can find out what u drive, and also I DONT see an 03 OZ on that list. So out of LOGIC I assumed that you are talking about your S2000. And on a different note, you are Mr. DumDum for not doing your research on the automatic transmission. Auto's don't have Clutches, they have Torque Converters. I didnt post my previous reply in a "arrogant" matter, I posted it just to EDUCATE you, so dont get all defensive... k?
riceburner you'll get used to searching on here before you post a question/thread. There's just sooo much info on this board that a search will likely get you an answer within 3 minutes
No reason to get hostile, as the mods will kill the thread. Nuff said.
Iamkar33m makes some good points. You may wanna learn a little more about auto tranny's before you try upgrading it. I believe that there are better mods you can do to the car to improve performance before looking at the tranny/torque converter for upgrades. Also take a look at the US Lancer Upgrade path .. its some GOOD info.

actually automatic transmissions do have clutchs. they just don't work in the same way as the classic manual transmission clutch does. any time there is a motor that spins one shaft and another shaft that spins at a different speed you need a clutch. the torque convertor helps to engage and disengage the various clutches on an auto tranny. in fact the auto tranny has many clutches. it just so happens that the torque convertor takes on the major functions that a manual clutch does.
