Hey guys, its been a while I used to own a 04 OZ but had to sell it cause of military. Im going to buy a 05 ES. Is accolade a good place to get a kit. OEM fit is my biggest concern.

 

i know this is off topic but if your gonna get a kit for it ... save some money and just get an older es like an 03. and about ur kit ...

theres alot of threads out there on who to buy from and who not to buy from.

 

I disagree with not buy a newer one

Although the warrenty might be an issue, I think that some of the newer kits for the 04+ are kinda cool.

As for vendors for kits, people don't like accolade, some don't like RRM.

It's a feud going on forever, buy from whoever you think, or base it on the design of the kit.

Please don't start a vendor bashing thread here.

Ive got a 05 Lancer ES, it seems as though almost NOTHING exists for 05 - 06 lancer ES-LS-OZ-OZ RA, everthing stops at 04+ but wtf is the "+" your telling me that i can go out on the web and dig up a SWEET 04 lancer ES kit and it WILL fit? not MAYBE fit but WILL fit? cause ive had a good look at the 04 and the 05 ES... the biggest diffrence being the cupholder was an option before...

so wtf? will the the awsome reverse Illumiglo gauge face work in my 05?

i mean cmon guys i cant even find a damn E-Brake lever that will say "fits in 05 ES"

 

As far as ive heard not much changed between the 04-05, so im guessing most of the stuff would fit.

 

thats been the case with another car i used to own.. but nothing ever really fit like it would have in the car made just 7 months earlier.. i just need some re-assurance from someone else who has tweaked an 05

 

Exterior wise 04,05 and 06 are the same. 06 has little uglier front bumper but you can still replace it with 04/05 bumper or get the body kit.

If you guys can peg a illumiglo gauge face for me.. that would be awsome.. or just ANY replacement gauge face.. the stock gauges on the 05 are more hidious then the the bumper on the 06

 

ha frigging ha, don't come in here with that crap, hey man do a search on accolade and look around a bit to see what kind of kit you want. but RRM does make a good looking Evo 9 kit. just look around a bit. good luck man
