short ram vs CAI? brand?

hey everyone,
never bothered modding my lancer yet but want to start with an air intake of course. just curious because im not as familiar as most of you probably are... for a 03 lancer es auto is it better to get a cold AI or short ram AI? and what brand is best? i always hear a lot of debate on this but would like some ideas if you dont mind. thanks all!

no CAI's made for auto's. looks like your going to have to go short ram. either get the AEM or Injen.

Yeah, your kinda stuck with a Short Ram since your an auto. But that is not a bad thing since Short rams tend to give you higher end torque vs. a cold air's lower end torque. If you get a hood duct your going to be in buiseness...
