wrecking yard is trying to screw me over, what can i do ? ( pics also )

i went to the junk yard my car is at to get my stuff out of the trunk today. i talked to my insurance first and they gave me the go ahead to take any aftermarket parts i wanted as long as i replaced them with stock parts.

so we're at the yard getting the header off, we're on the last bolt and the owner comes flying aross the lot in his truck and starts going ape**** telling us to "get the **** of my lot before i call the police" then said we had 5 minutes to pack our tools and get the f out of there, he sat and watched to make sure we left. i explained to him that my insurance said it as okay but he kept swearing at us telling us he didn't care and that it was his property. i called him on the way home and he made it clear that he plans to sell my parts.

what can i do? if i go back to get my stuff he can call the cops and ill get a fine for trespasing :[

this is in bala cynwyd, pa ( near philly )

also, here are some pic of my car ( the RRM parts are the only thing that survived, what does that say? quality parts )

hmmm doesn't look bad! maybe it won't be a total loss

eh, will an expensive repair, but probably not a total loss... oh wait what is this?

OH DEAR GOD, SWEET TITTY ****ING CHRIST WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE?

HOW ARE MY GIRLFRIEND AND I ALIVE? WE GOT PULLED OUT OF THIS CAR.

if the guy would have been nice we could have handled it like adults, instead he comes at us like hes going to attack us and starts swearing at us and stuff, he was a real jack ***.

i hit a wall on the highway and spun across 4 lanes of traffic into another car, then while we were unconcious the car started burning. a fire fighter rescued us

You can't say the RRM parts survived anymore than you can say that valve cover survived. The header is probably cracked- it looks tweaked to all hell from the pic and the strut bar isn't that miraculous because it wasn't a T-bone accident. I wouldn't trust it though after being through a car fire (metal fatigue from the heat). Given the condition of the car you should thank whatever god you pray to that you're still here to post and let the parts gooooo..... and next time call the yard before you walk in there with tools and start tinkering with a car- you might remember him from the night of the accident, but I really don't think he remembers you (especialy when you look like you're stealing from his wrecking yard).

All said, I'm glad you're still here to post.

he knew who I was, he recognized me right off the bat and was a complete ******* when I asked were my car was to get my stuff.

as for the header, it isn't bent or warped at all, amazingly it's in perfect condtion

the strut bar- the paint burned off of it, but it didn't bend at ALL, even the towers bent but the area were the bar was stayed in the exact same spot. and the wall as hit at an angle, so i'd say that is pretty freaking impresive.

edit: just to get an idea of how hard the impact was, i hit at about a 35 degree angle and it ripped the bumper cover AND wheel off ( the wheel with part of the control arm still attached was found on the other side of the gaurd rail )

just because its at his lot doesnt mean its his property to sell. he is holding it until he gets the title and such from the insurance company. his space is just being rented out until its all said and done. the insurance company owns the car as of now
