I'd say go for it as cheap as it is if you don't like it sell it. But for alittle over 200 you can't go wrong

Stainless steel (a little heavy, but most mufflers are made of that), 2.5" tubing (that size will work), mandrel bends (good), bolts on (no welding or shop labor required). Sure, it should be fine, and it will be more unique than the standard options. My only reason for not buying an exhaust over the internet is I don't know what it will sound like or how restrictive the muffler is. But as said above, if you don't like it, sell it for a minimal loss.

I dunno..I mean sometimes you can get steals on ebay...its worth a try...post something up later on and let us know if you decide to get it....but...i would advize b4 you buy...to see if the seller will answer a question....a lot of the times they never reply back...this can cause some serious stress....

^ Very true. I always check a seller's feedback and ask a question to see if they have open lines of communication.

From the last week alone. Although he still has a 98% positive rating, these are concerning:

wrong part, had to make modifications myself, exhaust system leaks at all joints

Piece missing from item. Never returned email or phone call.Took care of myself

Sent wrong unit and it was broken. Returned weeks ago with no replacement!

in my opinion, i would not get it. yes it looks nice, mandrel bent=nice, 2.5in works, the whole deal sounds pretty good. however, there are 2 things that where brought to my attention that may be of your concern:

1.) muffler tip is posted as 4in: you drive an OZ, correct? ...if i remember correctly the cut-out in the OZ lip is 3.75in. you would probably have to make some modifications to the lip.

2.) item desciption says JAPAN DESIGN. obviously this is because it is a JDM part but I AM NOT POSITIVE what they mean by 'japan design' email the seller and ask if he means a genuine JDM part, or for a japanese lancer. i wouldn't be able to tell you if the US lancer and the jap lancer have the same exhaust piping or not.

regarless, if you choose to buy it --> happy bidding and post some pic's once you get it installed

I say go for it, i'm thinking about doing the same, but the 4inch tip is just too big for me.

I'm pretty sure that ad only says JDM because it is an eye catching term in the Japanese car tuning scene. JDM is a STOCK part for a car marketed in Japan, that's it! And I am 99.99% certain that the stock Lancer exhaust in Japan didn't have an exhaust tip, let alone a 4" one.

^^ i wasn't saying the stock lancer had a 4in tip. the one on ebay says it has a 4in tip...but that doesn't fit through the cut out on the OZ lip.

Isn't 2.5 inches a little big for a non-turbo engine? (assuming the poster's is non-turbo) If you ask me, he'll lose torque upgrading to that size.

edit: also, i have a 4 inch tip on my oz and it looks great
