To be honest, for two reasons:

1) it was just an overview and didn't really help you decide what to get. Just showed the many examples of what you can get.

2) n00bs don't read the stickied threads. Or any threads. They just go "doodz, what iNtAKe shud i GET?"

I have had the cheap ebay one , the injen cold air , and the K&N Typhoon and I have to say I like the Typhoon the best it mounts solidly, it looks good, sounds great, and is very well built. None of them really had a tremendous impact on performance. I liked the Injen but it was a royal pain in the A$$ to remove the plastic covers every time you need to clean it and it did not mount very well. I do like the AEM one also but I have not had any personal experience with it.

The point of this thread was that we had a "Hey n00b, here's the answer to 'what intake should I get' thread" that is now missing.

THAT thread was pointless because most people didn't read it, and it didn't have a lot of info. Just name, photo and price, basically. So the n00bs still had to ask questions. So that thread was pointless.

Also, I was just kidding. Chill out.

 

if your interested in an intake i suggest the k&n typhoon....a nice sound plus...has the benifits of looking good....don't necessarily believe in the 4. sumthin hp increase....does feel like some what of an increase however....I have a place that sells if for 165...pm me
