i searched many treads but i couldn't find that im wondering.

so this is my question
is this tail lights are exactly same as RRM's selling one?

if yes then im gonna go with that e-bay one cause it's a lot cheapper than RRM's

and i think above one will be better than below one.

becauz it has not enough descriptions. so not much reliable.

what you guys think about these? or any better advices?

 

I have rarely had the best of luck with ebay items. Some you can get away with and have no problems. And sometimes you can get lucky and get basically a steal of a good item. I would say just to be safe if you purchase the ebay ones to put a little bit of sealant around them so they don't leak. Especially since they are in clear lenses, condensation looks gross and can mess up wiring. But I think the RRM ones are like $~190 and the ebay's after shipping are like $125 but with RRM you know if you have a problem you can get in touch with someone.

the 'blink section' is different when i see it.... RRM one is full carbon(or blacked out) but ebay one is reflector housing.(is that possible RRM guys made it black out that section?)
am i guessing right? or RRM one comes as same as e-bay one? (all the same DEPO?)

 

Yeah you can read the Depo on the RRM one. I don't mean that in a sarcastic way either. But they definitely have a blacked out turn signal which looks pretty nice actually. Maybe they painted it. I think they painted stock 02 - 03 headlights and sold them resealed very well.

 

I would also say if RRM did paint the turn signal chrome to black that they would have resealed the light well and leaking wouldn't be an issue on it.

I kinda like the look of the RRM ones, but it depends on your choice and the color of your car

 

my car is silver and i definitely go with Carbon Fiber that can be match with OEM EVO8 wing which is im getting soon.

 

Black chrome. But that is just my opinion. Also get chrome faced orange bulbs do that if you get the chrome turn signals they will not have an orange hue to them.

All my CF on Silver pics are probably expired by now...

 

i've got my ordered CF tails from Ebay. driver side works good.
but pessenger side tail doesn't work perfectly.
there's two break light and have to come out both lights...
however only one light comes out. one doesn't (i even tried to fit it to drivers side but the same result). any keys to solve this problem(like get another harness)? or just return it to exchange?

 

pull the bulb and check the contacts. they might not be touching the contacts in the harness. just play with contacts on the bulbs until it works.
