Need Some Advice (2005 Lancer OZ Rally)

Hello!

Im new here and have some questions. Im going to start off by saying that Im 17 and know almost next to nothing about cars so youll have to bear with me. Anyways back in August 2005 I got a new 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally. Its red and an automatic, since I cant drive manual . Anyways I want try to increase the exterior, interior, suspension, and performance as much as I can without putting me in the poor house. Any comments or ideas would be great. Ive searched around and heres what Ive come up with so far:

Stage 1:
RRM Short Ram Induction Kit
Greddy Muffler w/ 2.5" Piping

Stage 2:
RRM Lancer Header
RRM Piggy Back ECU - Automatic Ver.2
RRM Light Aluminum Crank Pulley

Stage 3:
NSC Engine Damper
RRM Progress Springs
RRM Front Strut Bar
RRM Rear Strut Bar
RRM Rear Anti Sway Bar

Stage 4:
Tinted Windows
Ralliart Extreme Edition V.2 Body Kit
Carbon Fiber Hood
Carbon Fiber Eyelids

Stage 5:
GPS

Im just wondering if anyone has and more ideas on what I could do to the exterior, interior, suspension, and performance. Especially interior. I was thinking about painting some of tha panneling but; a. I dont know how, b. I dont know what parts to paint. So any help on that would be great. Also since Im getting body kit I was wondering whats usually the base price for installation and painting to match my car? Thanks

Like the guys said....stick with performance first and some exterior stuff...don't get crazy.

Intake
Exhaust
High Flow Cat
Pulley

CF Hood
CF Eyelids
Tint Tails (BlueBatmobile.com)

Front/Rear Strut Bars
Save and get coilovers (NEX-check in vendor forum)
Rear sway w/perches

Just some ideas......Have fun!

thats quite the shopping list... performance first... intake suspension exaust.. start there.. we dont care what it looks like at first... but if you rice out the outside like all get out.. and then turn it on and i hear the pitter patter of stock... i will laugh at you so hard YOU **** your pants... but if you show me a totally stock lookin crapper.. and you start it up.. and i mistake it for a porsche... then its all good... and you will have a madd sleeper.. and you can quit the day job

id suggest to stay out of the poor house, to get rid of the ecu and throttle body, probably getting those last. u dont want the ecu until you really get to tuning your car. aside from thats its what 350+ and the tb is idk how much but expensive. thats just my .02 tho. hope it helped.

just a thought, you should look at the RMR intake ... it comes with ah heat shield which is nice ... from what i see in the RRM picture i dont see a heat shield. i would also get the pulley at the same time you get the greddy muffler, cause im guessing the muffler is from RRM ... just my .02

dont mean to go against ur opinion jchangsta, but if he knows someone who could do a custom cai for him, and if he could get an air bypass valve for cheap, why not go for that? more gain, better sound for about the same price. and ya it isn't brand name, but if the person is good at it, then why not?

and like other guys said, you better go with the 'perfomance' first. like I did so far(not much done though but keep doing it).

The stages could depend upon whether you want show or go... But since our Lancers really can't "go" w/o a turbo/sc kit; when I'd recommend the handling components first. Springs, RDD strut bar set, better tires, etc. But if you want show first, go for the body kit and accessories. What path do you like better?

Haha! Stage 5 is GPS Your list looks good except that id bump the header into Stage 1 but its not like that makes any difference whatsoever since its your first mod of Stage 2. Just have fun!
